Pediatrics

The staff in the Florida Hospital Heartland Division hospital in Sebring are qualitfied to care for children ages two days to 17 years. We care about the health and comfort of your child, as well as you. That's why the department is equipped with all private rooms where parents and/or guardians are encouraged to stay with their child.

At Florida Hospital, the Pediatric unit is designed to make your child at ease. Colorful murals decorate the hallways to keep the atmosphere fun. While we realize no child likes to spend time in a hospital, our staff strives to make his/her stay as pleasant as possible. Each room is also equipped with a television and vhs access. To make your child more comfortable, please bring their favorite toy or security blanket.

Pediatric Hospitalist

Florida Hospital Heartland Division is pleased to introduce a Pediatric Hospitalist program at the Sebring campus. Hospitalists are physicians who specialize in caring for patients while they are in the hospital. Whether your child is visiting the Emergency Department or admitted to the Pediatric Unit, the Pediatric Hospitalist will be there to coordinate care in conjunction with your child's primary care physician.
